The green is very Springy, cheerful and bright. I still prefer black, it is easier on my old eyes.

I personally have a problem with the fact that Gary Wagner is one of Chuck Mirr's cousins. I realize that this is a small town and many folks are related, but this is too many Mirr's running local government! The potential for biased control is quite high and very dangerous in my opinion. We need a free thinker to be elected, not just cousin Gary who will vote however Chuck wants him to. There actually should be laws against this type of thing.

I realize this isn't pertinent to the blog design, maybe Chief could start a new post about the elections that isn't a mile down on the list. Thanks.

I couldn't agree more! Gary Wagner obviously didn't have any intention of going into local politics and was recruited for the write-in campaign. It's not ethical, sensible, and shouldn't be legal for that matter. His answers in the newspaper questionnaire were really lame. He's the last guy I want in my city government.

I'm not sure of the new layout. Whatever filters you are using made the moose look almost white on the one blog you posted.

Additionally, some of the other topics posted using the 'new layout' make Green Lake actually look like a desirable place to live / visit.

Chief, for those of us that don't like to deal with reality can you do a layout that makes everything in Green Lake appear through "rose colored glasses"? I think many of us really need this 'filtering' so our eyes don't sting quite as much when we pull our heads out of the sand and see what's really happening around us.

Talk about collusion...has anyone noticed the new menu at the Goose Blind featuring The Dough-Head Sandwich. You can order it "boldly open-faced" and it comes with a free glass of sour grapes whine...Ooops - I meant wine (unless it is served by one of the boys basketball team or their parents).

I love this blog-sight. It's so much less expensive than having to pay a psychoanalyst for much needed therapy.
(reposted from a later post due to posters no longer posting on that post - I did it 'post haste'!...Now, how many blogs do you see using Latin?)

Off topic a bit. There's quite a few "families" with members that aren't too swift planted on boards, councils, and committees. And there's always one smarty-pants with his hands in almost every cookie jar, spinning personal agenda. Circumventing the laws and using PR to control the information highway. People need to wake up.
