Enough Already
I don't really care that much what people post on here when they are considered opinions. Calling other posters idiots is not necessary. I will delete them. I haven't changed the sign in so far to let people post anonymously. I feel it gives people a venue to speak out. I may change this if it becomes necessary.

I understand your opinion and agree with it. People SHOULD NOT be rude like some folks have been and it is wise to delete these. I do appreciate the anonymous option and hope you can keep it.

You are exactly right. It is apparent why our community is in trouble. We see ignorance at its finest here.
My grandmother always said- if you can't find anything nice to say to others- don't say anything at all. We all have differences of opinions but at least we can be civil to each other!
People should just realize this blog is like a Sound Off in the paper-- Think about it!!!
I think there would be a huge decrease in postings if people had to sign their names. People posting anonymously should be civil though.
Ever read the comments on the Topix board or the blog for the Mayor of Ripon? Now I hear there is a bill being considered in either Madison or Washington requiring people to sign their postings.
Some people have nothing better to do than whine and complain, but never offer any reasonable and sensible answers to today's problems.

I've read the Topix board and the Ripon Mayor's blog. Residents fighting for their rights, defending education, and catching politicians at their own games inspires me.
The problems are that the "power and money" are no longer held accountable and they are using taxpayers' money to create smoke-n-mirrors and "stiff" the taxpayers! Be persistent and ask city and school officials for documented proof of what they claim and how they spend your money...watch the circular logic, the roadblocks, the lawyering up, and the slanderous attacks begin against honest, trusting, hardworking citizens.
Anybody read Ripon's Commonwealth about Ripon's school district and still think school districts in GL and Ripon aren't playing the same games with our money and our kids' education??????? Highly paid school admnistrators think they own our school's operations and budget - and school boards are doing nothing about it.
The Teaparty movements aren't just taking place against the nation's politics, they are taking shape in small towns in the form of outspoken anger. Kudos to those courageous residents who do their homework and take a stand!!!
