Where is the Sanitary District in this Development?
What about the sewer system for this development? Has anything come before the sanitary district yet? I don't think that area percs for a conventional development, does it? I know the ABA has its own sewer plant that is very old and couldn't possibly handle a development of this size. What is the answer to this?

Almost all sewage from ABA is pumped to the GLSD treatment plant west of ABA. It has been this way for about 15 years, or as long as GLSD has had their plant out along Cty T. The Lindenwood developers indicated that all development sewage will also go to the GLSD plant.

Your response sounds good in principle, but you do not address the actual potential result. Your comment is a shallow political comment/response, at best. You must work for the Sanitary District or you are with the Linwood Development group!
The actual situation that the Chief is trying to smoke signal, I think, is probably that the present waste water treatment plant (WWTP) on County T is relatively small, and nearing getting to be outdated (i.e. over 15 years old). Has the Lindenwood Development Group done the in-depth due diligance study in assessing if the increased flow from the development into the system at County T can/will/could meet the treatment standards due to the increased demand? Probably not. As such, the County and City representatives don't "get it" or have the mental capacity to "get it". Therefore, they will, as usual, stick thier heads in the sand with regard to the issue and allow the development proceed forward without getting an acceptable explanation of the impacting infrastructure science. So, in the long run, we the taxpayers, will have to swallow another tax increase to re-build this treatment facility. But what should happen is this. The County and City Officials should require that the proper due diligence be completed with respect to understanding the impact on the County T WWTP before approving the project plans. This in turn would give them (County and City Official) the ability to hold the Lindenwood Development Group or the planned new home owners to be responsible for cost improvements to the WWTP due to the increased demand when, not if, it happens.
I made a very casual inquiry into the possible consequences of the added development. The treatment facility would probably have to add another pool or whatever they call it for treatment. There is one currently. What is the cost of this is really the question and will it be absorbed by the development or us?
