GO PACK GO!!

What a great reason to have a home party. Go Packers! Love that Farve. He is forever in our hearts, fun to watch and shows a real energy for the game.

I predict that Packers will prevail in this one...the planets are in alignment!

Sorry, but Farve is not forever in my heart. If he had retired, and stay retired, then he would not have turned millions of people against him. I admire him, but hope he gets his ass kicked in Green Bay today.

I too am disappointed in Favre's public image. He had his chance and was blessed with athletic prowess, financial success, and fame for the right reasons.

He's an old man, by certain standards, and should be happy to still have his health. Why push fate? No amount of money is worth poor health. Why not allow someone else to work hard to achieve the same sort of happiness he's found in the game of football and in life? Why not take the consuming to spend with those less fortunate and even family members? He has freedom of choice, but I believe his retirement/unretirement thing has hurt his image and will only bring frustration to him that I guess he must live before he learns. I do wish him well, even if I don't give a rat's ass about football. Lots of people spend alot of money on football paraphenalia because of him, and they certainly base important decisions on sports. So hip, hip, hooray!

This guy Farve is a football player. He should play until he drops dead if he wants to. Too bad Green Bay turn their backs on him. Rodgers is a flash in the pan and will not last another year and a half.

He should play till he drops dead if he wants to. No one is dictating that he can't. I just wondered why he tests the fate of his good health, doesn't give someone else a chance to find the same success he's had, and why he isn't spending the time he can afford to spend doing other things in life with family and friends.

Well Lord Favre has graced us with his presence and he has prevailed victorious, good for him. Now can we end the worshipping of Lord Favre? The media hoopla has been nothing short of excessive and somewhat sickening.

Love becomes evil when people's "love" for something/someone is given God-like status and precedence. People's "love" for sports and athletes has become fanatical idolatry. It's really quite disgusting.
