are they trying to go out of business!

I agree, they have just alienated half of their clientele.

If you're going to boycott a business because they host a party for a political candidate whose views you happen to oppose, you must really be one of the smallest minded persons left on the planet.
Do you check all businesses and ask the owners political views before you agree to do business with them?
It's hard to believe we live amongst such close minded fools.

I have known people who were best friends for decades who parted ways over contrasting political opinions. Like it or not, people do get emotional about their beliefs. I can choose to patronize (or not) any place of business I wish for any reason I wish. It is a free country, after all. Don't get your undies in a bundle.

That's just sad. Real friends would set these differences aside and remember the good in people that made them your friend in the first place.

whhooaaaa!!

You mean some people are small minded and irrational?....thank God they don't hang out on this blog..

Yep, if the villages call all their idiots home, there will be nothing written on this blog ever again.
It will be so lonely...

What a shame that people would abandoned their friends or family over such trivial things in life. Life is so much bigger. My beliefs are VERY strong about morals and politics, but I would never judge others or disconnect with them. God is the only person who can judge us. What ever happened to committment. You commit to a friend, a marriage, a career, a business, a child, a church, whatever, stick with it for crying out loud! Do the right thing.

whoever said their undies where in a bundle or referenced that, perhaps you are just a pup...no direction, no family, no friends that can guide you. People still care about you. Blessings,

How much wine and cheese do I get for $10?

There ya go, the good old American Spirit. How much do I get for my money? The hell with what I'm here for, tell me how much I can eat and drink.
Oh ya gotta love it!

Apparently, you have no sense of humor...

Most of you are missing the whole point. According to most of the above blogs, people are not entitled to have their own opinions, we should all have the same homogeneous unified mindset. The few free-thinkers on this blog get chastised and berated for actually having thoughts, opinions and ideas by the rest of you with limited views.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create. Albert Einstein
