Cool stuff. We went to Norton's for dinner last Saturday and were delighted to get an unexpected "show" with the ice boats out on the lake. The small town charm of things like this or last summers free band concert which had the UW marching band playing while the hot air balloon passed over at almost tree-top level, are the things that still do separate us from other lake country destinations. Come on citizens of Green Lake. Don't always bash the things within our community that you don't agree with...come out and celebrate / support the things that make us what we are.
Great shots, I had no idea the boats were at Norton's. Should be the future site of Winterfest. Its refreshing to see one of only a handful of businesses that keep fun activities alive in Green Lake.

Thanks to the Green Lake Ice Yacht Club for bringing out their club boats. It has been a great year for iceboating on Big Green.
