It was EXCITING - and how nice to get the very POSITIVE compliments about how organized it was - AND from runners from all over Midwest who said they will bring their families back to enjoy a few days in Green Lake. Thanks to the Chamber and all who worked hard for months to bring this opportunity for visitors to see GL, as well as "locals" to help or just enjoy the excitement of people having a good time in Green Lake! Many of us look forward to participating or volunteering to be an active part next year!
Great Event! Heard many good comments. Will be a super annual event.
Was this a fund-raiser for charity?
The half- marathon was a great event. I have my questions if Labor Day Weekend was a good time, but don't know the logistics for planning it. Anyway the course was great, also had second thoughts of having to run past the finish line then run an additional 2 miles then finish, but it worked out OK, because it was nice when spectators cheered us on.
