Packer vs. Vikings?

So who is going down in Monday night's game?

I don't see the Packers winning this Monday. My money is still with Favre.

I disagree. You have Favre gunning for the Packers (primarily Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy)...But, you have the entire Packer team gunning for Brett Favre. I love Bret and will always consider him a Packer...other than tomorrow night when he is an enemy in Vike-Queens clothing (and any other time he plays the Packers).
Brett was great and still has 'the gift' but, as I've seen on t-shirts and bumper stickers...
Buck Frett Barve (you do the deciphering).

Truth is, farve's nothing much of a concern. It would be great to sack him a few times, pick him off a few more, but he's really nothing but a ball boy for Adrian Peterson. If we can't stop Peterson, it will all be over for GB very early in the game. It will be a tough game to watch, but I see the Pack going down by at least ten. I sure hope I'm wrong!

Packers! Think positive!

Sometimes I hate being a realist... I agree with "seat 6" If we can't stop Peterson, it will all be over quickly. Maybe head to bed at half time?

I will pick the Packers to win, simply because they want it more than the Vikings. 27-21 GO PACK!

I guess Brett did show us a thing or two last night that is still in his arsenal. Unfortunately, he was helped by our offensive line not protecting Aaron, where Brett's line kept him pretty safe through the game.

Oh well, hopefully the Pack can fix these things in time for when they play the Vikings again.

Very true. Aaron Rodgers deserves a great deal of credit playing with the adversity that the offensive (Extremely Offensive?) line has afforded him. Yes, he directly contributed to the loss with 2 turnovers. However, when he is getting rushed, sacked (20 times in 4 games!), hurried and harassed on every single play...it's amazing to see his poise and ability to still make good decisions and beautiful throws.
Happy to see that the Pack has invited Mark Tauscher to the team (working out contract details) and that Chad Clifton will be back for the next game after the bye week. A healthy, capable offensive line is the key to the rest of the season (along with a few other variables).
Stay tuned for November 1st rematch!
