I was relieved to read in the Ripon paper that the auction for Tuscumbia has been cancelled. Who knows what the buyer would have done with the property! We don't need any more controversy in this city.
Also I read the Green Lake school isn't going to get the grant money it was planning for in the charter school. What's up with that?
That auction is just a new gimmick to see if someone dumb will either overpay or pay fair market for real estate in a slow real estate market. It also draws attention to your property and you get a lot of free publicity.
Since we can't talk about stuff we want to talk about- we can just post our comments under any subject heading. Great idea. I can't wait for the chief to post subjects. I would start my own blog if I knew how. What about the new public works building? Is a open house in the works?
What is the status of the Athletic field and area? What was the offer to the school? Why does the school not want it? I guess the school does not need an athletic facility???
